Learn About Springdale Academy
A Springdale Academy classroom is meticulously designed to enable children to work freely while also allowing them to enjoy the thrill of self-discovery.
Teachers provide resources, and children are free to choose from them, working with them again and again, eventually understanding the concepts. The idea is for children to figure out the answers on their own!
In the Springdale Academy’s learning environment, children develop academically. They learn to solve complicated math problems, name continents, recognize geometric patterns, write elegantly, and discuss scientific topics like “chlorophyll.”
Engaging the child’s creative mind is just as crucial as tapping their academic side. Art & craft, drama, music, dance, etc. are all taught to the children. On one day, they might be drawing the beautiful flowers on their school’s campus, the next day you’ll find them dancing gracefully to a piece of nice music.
Our educational mission’s most essential component, however, has little to do with academics. Our main objective is to nurture and develop each child’s inherent sense of wonder and delight. We believe that children should enjoy childhood and that laughing and the buzz of creative silliness should be part of every school day. We want children to enjoy learning and school.
